The 2019 drought felt endless; while my emotional response to the drought was strong I am re-working old drought paintings to a new darkness reflecting the outside environment.
2020 February rain then weeds & waiting for follow up rain.
2024 – After years of more rain, with the paddocks not being grazed, getting slashed a couple of times and hand weeding the grassland is back again. An environmental consultant inspected the property and agreed the grassland is healthy and has many vulnerable and threatened species thriving.
